EDISTO BEACH, S.C. (WCBD) — Following Hurricane Matthew, many people have sent in pictures and video to the WCBD alert center, showing the compassion neighbors are showing neighbors in their time of need.

This is no different. Following the devastation at Edisto beach, a group of guys took the time to donate food and feed those in need!

In a message sent to us by Ashley Green, she says Ink Farm, Carolina Composites, Edisto Outlaw fishing team, and Lowcountry Site Services from Walterboro, all gathered to cook and feed lineman, national guard, police department and those who worked all week to restore power to Edisto.

She goes on to say “It’s important to me to see how small towns can come together as ONE during a time like this!”
